Is it Good to Give Your Baby’s Used Clothes to Other Babies?

Yes, it is good to give your baby used clothes to other babies. In India, wearing used clothes is a tradition.

Well, apart from the myth, the real reason behind wearing the used cloth is that the new clothes would have starch fabric which could rub against the baby’s sensitive skin and can result in itching and dryness.

Thus, using old or used clothes is the better thing. Above all, if you are the one giving away the used clothes it is more than better because someone needy could use them (if you are giving these to someone who really needs them), or else your nephew or niece can make use of these.

Though, before this, you should make sure that these clothes should not have loose ends, loose thread, or loose thread near the baby’s neck, hands, feet, etc because it can harm the baby.
